Keyword Analysis
One of the most important parts of e-commerce sites is the category pages. These pages need to be well-structured, from the URLs to the content layout. This is where keyword analysis plays a crucial role. We examined the competitors and used SEO tools to find the most accurate keywords for the category pages. We selected the best one as the "main keyword" and included supportive words as "side keywords" throughout the SEO process.
Category Content Planning and Entries
Once we determined the keywords, we started incorporating them into the category pages. We began by properly organizing the URLs and then planned engaging content focused on the "main keyword," while utilizing the side keywords we had identified. We carefully structured the content within relevant categories, ensuring proper heading hierarchy and internal linking.
Meta Description and Title Optimization
Optimizing the title and meta description is vital to attract attention on search engine results. We conducted thorough optimizations for the homepage, category pages, and product pages of the website. While optimizing, we also paid close attention to effectively using keywords.
Robots.txt Analysis
Before search engines visit the website, they examine a file called robots.txt. Google allots a crawling budget for each site, so analyzing and optimizing the robots.txt file is crucial. We assessed which parts of the website should and should not be crawled and added the necessary parts to the robots.txt file. These additions aim to use the crawling budget more accurately and identify any incorrect commands. We also included the sitemap in the robots.txt file.
Heading Analysis
Heading analysis plays a significant role in technical SEO. Each page should have correctly and hierarchically structured heading tags. However, there are some limitations to consider. For a site to be SEO-friendly in terms of headings, it should have only one title with an H1 tag on each page. On the Tedarik Adam site, some pages had multiple titles with more than one H1 tag. We analyzed these pages with multiple H1 errors and made the necessary adjustments to have only one H1 tag.
Backlink
In addition to technical SEO and on-site optimization, off-site SEO should also be prioritized. However, before starting off-site work, it is important to reach a certain level of on-site SEO. After effectively resolving the site's issues, we began working on acquiring backlinks for the target pages. Our goal was to increase the authority of the Tedarik Adam site by obtaining backlinks from relevant and high-traffic websites.
Site Audit
Conducting a site audit is crucial to identify technical SEO errors. By regularly using Ahrefs and Screaming Frog, we detected technical SEO issues on the site and created a table for website technical analysis. In this section, we had the opportunity to examine redirect errors, orphan page errors, Open Graph errors, title and meta description errors, heading errors, and more.
Merchant Center Setup and Optimization
In order to be included in the "Shopping" section that Google uses in search results, a Merchant Center must be set up. The effect of Merchant Center on SEO processes is; It contributes positively to brand awareness and provides an organic traffic flow to the website from the "Shopping" tab. In line with the customer's request, we set up the Merchant Center for the Tedarik Adam site. While adding the feed file after installation, we discovered that some products were not approved by Google and we tried to make the necessary optimizations by communicating with the customer.
When we compare the last 90-day period with the previous 90-day period, we achieved a 20% increase in the number of clicks, a 15% increase in the number of impressions and a 3.6% increase in the click-through rate.

We plan to continue the technical SEO analyzes we have done so far to ensure that the Tedarik Adam site continues to rise. We plan to continue adding content to categories within the framework of appropriate keywords and purchasing backlinks in terms of external SEO. The main goal of all the work we will do will be to increase the authority of the site and rank higher in search engines for the keywords we target.
