HDA Energy Case Study
HDA Energy has been offering innovative and environmentally friendly energy solutions as one of the industry's leading suppliers with its lithium battery-based product group since 2010. Standing out in industrial battery supply, HDA Energy, with its professional team and close customer relations, focused on SEO studies to create the same impact in the digital world.
In October 2022, HDA Energy started its digital marketing journey with Dopinger SEO and Digital Marketing Agency. As a first step, we analyzed the company's goals in depth. Their focus was to rank higher on specific product pages targeting high search volume keywords such as ‘18650 pil’, ‘LiFePO4 pil’, and ‘prizmatik hücre pil’. With the strategies we implemented, we observed significant data increases by attracting users to these pages that received almost no impressions and clicks. As a result of the work we carried out in the 12 months, we achieved significant success by increasing the click rates on the website by 10 times and the impression rates by 22 times!
As a result of 12 months of SEO work, we increased the click rates on the HDA Energy website by 10 times, achieving an increase of 1066%. We achieved a 22-fold increase in viewing rates with 2180%. You can examine the 12-month increase with the table below obtained from Google Search Console.
As can be seen from the graph, a significant increase in the number of clicks and impressions was observed in the 12 months. In particular, for the keyword 'lifepo4 pil' with a search volume of 1.9K, although we did not initially achieve any rankings, thanks to our effective content and technical SEO strategies, we rose to 40th place in the first month. We managed to reach the first-page ranking at the end of 12 months.
So, How Did We Achieve This?
Before starting the project, as we do with every customer, we first learned their goals, then made various analyses and established strategies. Afterward, we developed the project by implementing these strategies through mutual work.
Target and Side Keyword Analysis
First, we developed a strategy according to our goals and then started keyword analysis. In this process, we focused on the keywords that our customer prioritized. After achieving successful results in these words, we identified other potential keywords and integrated them with the site's content. We performed a detailed analysis of these potential keywords. In addition, we examined the content of competing companies. We made deeper and more strategic content planning based on the target keywords obtained from our analysis, thus creating richer and more effective content.

Content Optimization
- First, we analyzed our target audience's search habits and preferred keywords. By naturally integrating these words into our content, we aimed to become more visible in search engines and attract users' attention.
- We created eye-catching and keyword-focused titles and meta descriptions for each page. This made it easier for users to find and click on our content in search results.
- We created a clear and logical structure to enable users to read and understand the content easily. We increased the readability of the content by using headings, subheadings, and bullets. This allowed users to interact more with the content and search engines to better understand the content.
- By establishing meaningful connections between content, we encouraged users to spend more time on our site and explore more pages. At the same time, this strategy helped search engines better understand the structure of our site.
- We follow the developments and trends in the sector and make regular content entries.
Technical SEO Studies
Technical SEO studies performed on the HDA Energy website are a series of improvements carried out to ensure that the site is better understood and indexed by search engines. Here is a general list of these studies:- Editing Error in Language Structures: At the beginning of the study, we detected an editing error in the language structures on the technical side. While the URLs on the TR side of the website appeared to be non-www, it appeared to be www in other languages. Without wasting any time, by redirecting htaccess, non-www URLs were redirected to www URLs, and the error was eliminated.
- Site Speed Optimization: Visual optimizations and file compression techniques were implemented to shorten page loading times. Consultancy was provided to improve server response times. As a result of the studies, a significant increase in page speed was observed.

Fixing 404 Errors: Broken links and links to non-existent pages were detected and redirected.
Management of Redirects: Unnecessary or incorrectly configured 301 and 302 redirects and redirected links on the pages were corrected.
XML Sitemap Editing: The created XML sitemap file had to be edited so that search engines could better crawl the site. We have optimized the site map.
Optimizing the Robots.txt File: The robots.txt file, which determines how search engines should crawl the site, must be configured correctly. Parameters that should be blocked to prevent some pages that should not be crawled from spending the crawling budget have been added to the robot file.
Optimization of Meta and Title Tags: It was checked whether each page's title and meta descriptions were SEO compatible, and the necessary optimizations were made.
Strengthening Internal Link Structure: An effective internal link structure was created to increase site navigation and page authority.
Structured Data Markup: By using Schema.org markups, the content was better understood by search engines.
We conducted regular analysis of our website using advanced technical SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush and Screaming Frog. By making strategic plans with the data we obtained from these analyses, we achieved our goal of identifying and minimizing the technical problems on our website.
Structured Data Studies
Within the scope of structured data studies, we especially focused on FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions), articles, organization structural data, and breadcrumb structural data to ensure that search engines and users better understand the website encounter richer information in search results. Thanks to structured data, we saw increases in the impression and click rates on the pages.
